Anthony M. Roby, the younger of two sons of Attorney Steven B. Roby, grew up in Bloomfield Township, Michigan. Anthony earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Spanish from Michigan State University in December 2007. He graduated magna cum laude from the University of Detroit Mercy School of Law in May 2011.

He is admitted as an attorney in the State of Michigan and authorized to practice law before two U.S. District Courts in Michigan, as well as the U.S. Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals in Cincinnati, Ohio.
