Anthony M. Roby

Anthony M. Roby

A dual citizen of the United States and Spain, Anthony M. Roby’s practice is devoted exclusively to U.S. immigration and nationality law, primarily corporate and industrial employment based immigration matters. He represents automotive, aircraft, industrial steel, engineering, design, and medical service companies before the U.S. Departments of State, Labor, and Homeland Security. He is also an expert in identifying and analyzing the immigration consequences associated with specific criminal arrests, convictions, or conduct – sometimes referred to as “crimmigration.” In addition, Anthony represents clients in administrative appellate litigation before the Executive Office for Immigration Review’s Board of Immigration Appeals, the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services’ Administrative Appeals Office, and the Department of Labor’s Board of Alien Labor Certification Appeals.

In December 2007, Anthony earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Spanish from Michigan State University in East Lansing, Michigan. Thereafter, he attended law school at the University of Detroit Mercy School of Law, graduating magna cum laude in May 2011. He was admitted to practice law in the State of Michigan in October 2011.

Today, in addition to the state trial, intermediate appellate, and supreme courts, Anthony is authorized to practice law before two U.S. Federal District Courts in Michigan, as well as the U.S. Federal Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit Court, located in Cincinnati, Ohio. He is also registered with the U.S. Department of Justice’s Executive Office for Immigration Review and authorized to appear as an attorney before its various immigration tribunals.
